I am currently responsible for all hiring, safety training, and hazmat compliance. I ensure that all scheduling for the warehouse is complete and efficient. I also balance warehouse budgets and focus on manager and supervisor development.

Administration Manager

As a merchandise manager, I was in charge of all the sales at the warehouse. An important factor in having successful sales is product placement. Each day, I made plans as to where each product would provide the most revenue. I led a team of 4 managers, 2 supervisors, and 85 employees. With their help, we were able to strategically place $15 million in product at any given time. 
Another major responsibility of mine was to help my employees develop their careers, to highlight their strengths, and encourage growth in areas needed. I did this through annual reports for each individual employee. 
I also led the process of interviewing and hiring. Though this, I was able to ensure I had a team of employees that were dedicated and capable.

Merchandise Manager

Trained and coached team on proper duties. Communicated with upper management about the productivity of the store. Organized marketing campaigns. Always gave outstanding customer service. 
Accomplishments
Employee of the Month, June 2012
Organized marketing campaigns that received first place for five consecutive months for all of Utah.

Front End Supervisor

Created new ways to increase and achieve department and store wide goals. Planned and coordinated company projects which led to increased performance and sales. Communicated with customers and businesses about company offerings. Consistently achieved and exceeded goals set by upper management.

Executive Marketer/Floater

McDonald's

As an Assistant General Manager, I played a crucial role in running the day to day decisions of the business. I had the opportunity to work at one of the busiest McDonalds in the Mid-west, pushing 200+ cars through drive-through in an hour, and grossing over $5 million a year. In this role, I participated in hiring, reviews, scheduling, budgets, orders, and developing others in their careers.

My name is Mike Every.  I have over 18 years of experience in leadership/management.  I started as an assistant manager for McDonald's and then switched to Costco Wholesale, where I held multiple leadership positions in marketing, merchandising, and administration.  Currently, I work for Paul Mitchell the School.  I cover schools in Idaho, Utah, and Washington.  While working for the Paul Mitchell Schools, I also work with FilmLaab!  I love the start-up challenge and the team I work with there!  
I love what I do and do it well.  I am easy to talk with, always looking for ways to improve, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
