The IS-CL Network

IS-CL (International Startup Community Leaders) started as an international summit for startup communities. We understood there is a need to understand better how to build a startup ecosystem and empower and train community managers. 

Up to date, there were 3 summits in 2018, 2019, 2020. the first two were in Israel, the last one was hybrid (online + access to physical gathering in WeWorks spaces globally)  

We have three primary services: 
1. Lectures, workshops, courses, and customized programs about building communal startup ecosystems and community as a business development and innovation tool.

2. Management Consulting - Focused on community strategy for your business and/or local startup ecosystems. We assist from strategy to execution, including the implementation of information and community management systems.

3. Community Outsourcing - we build and provide outsourced community management and leadership teams. The team works with your leadership and helps them attract power members, plan forward and manage the community's day-to-day.

Regional Business Development is a concept that claims business development is not restricted to the private sector. regions, municipalities and other forms of regional collaboration can and should invest in finding "clients". 

in this course, the students are challenged to do a SWOT analysis and a strategic offer regarding a relevant region that is in an accelerated growth stage or has the potential to do so.
each team chooses a relevant target company, a company that is highly likely to be a new member of the region's economic ecosystem. 

I've created the course while working at OR Movement and working with government and private sector leading figures. 
The course lectures are based on real life case studies and experience of leading figures in the public and private sector.

ShinSheva was a Maker Space in south Tel-Aviv acquired on Dec 2019.
I joined as a consultant to help save the company from bankruptcy. 

We managed in less than four months to do a turnaround. We updated the business plan and focus, changed the compensation model of the employees, and created new partnerships to create new revenue streams. 

After three months, I joined officially as CBO and Partner.
