Responsible for enterprise software sales to consulting clients.  
Number one sales rep in first year with the company, closing more deals in the first year then any other rep in the company.  
RedSeal offers a Security Risk Management Technology used by security consultants to better understand the networks where they are working on engagements.  Using this technology consultants are quickly able to see areas of the network that are at risk that thus able to prioritize remediation.

Number one sales rep in eight-member team. Closed the first corporate-wide security audit for a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company based in Chicago. Responsible for all aspects of this sale from initial lead generation to presentation, and negotiations including acting as a liaison between legal departments for all changes to MSA and Statement of Work.  Aggressive “hunter,” responsible for qualifying ten major accounts within first six months and presenting to these accounts in Chicago and the West Coast.
* Cable & Wireless Worldwide scuttled the US division, Cable & Wireless America, and all employees were laid off.

Moai Technologies

Hired to build a sales team from the ground up.  Hired twelve reps and working directly with senior management established quota and built an inside sales training program.   Brought SalesForce.com in and helped to ensure smooth transition from existing spreadsheet based lead generation process to the modern world.

Tapped by Dave Parker CEO of Weblogic to work as Director of Sales in this early phase startup.  Dave was the original president of WebLogic prior to the BEA acquistion. WebLogic was valued at $4m, $12m and $30m post the Series A, B and C rounds. Purchased 12 months after the C round for $240m in BEA stock, which rose to $3b value 24 months post the acquisition.

Pure Software

Pure Software was founded in October 1991 by Reed Hastings and Mark Box. The original product was a debugging tool for Unix/C engineers called Purify. After adding new products such as Quantify and PureLink, and doubling its revenue every year for four years, Pure Software went public with the help of Morgan Stanley in 1995.
I worked for Paul Holland and later Mark Saul, their VP of Sales at the time.  This brief stint at a fast paced and highly successful start-up set my career path and many startups followed.
