Hi, I'm Mikhail Gaponov, a passionate Plastic Surgeon with a PhD in Medicine, Dentistry, and Surgery, specializing in Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine, and Cosmetology. My academic foundation was laid at Sechenov Moscow State University, where I embarked on a comprehensive educational journey. I completed my General Surgery and Surgical Dentistry degree in July 2005, followed by specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by July 2008. Keen on advancing my expertise, I pursued further specialization in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, completing it in July 2015, and crowned my academic pursuits with a PhD in Medicine, Dentistry, and Surgery by July 2017. These rigorous academic experiences equipped me with a deep understanding of the human anatomy, surgical precision, and a holistic approach to patient care. Professionally, my career commenced at the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Sechenov Academic First Moscow State Medical University in January 2005, where I honed my skills in reconstructive surgeries, particularly in the head and neck area, and engaged in complex purulent-inflammatory processes, dental implantations, and teaching. In September 2022, I took a significant step in my career by moving to Dubai, where I joined Medical Center Podruzhki LLC. Here, I expanded my repertoire to include face contouring, lips augmentation, body fillers, and pioneering unique techniques such as the Russian lips and fox eyes, among others. I am proud to be the only Russian plastic surgeon in the UAE region certified by DHA, reflecting my commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest medical standards.
