I have been reporting on issues affecting students at the University of Bristol, especially during the strikes and the Marking and Assessment Boycott. Our coverage of Epigram was picked up by the BBC Points West for its continuous coverage shedding light on various aspects of the issue.

As the Arts Critic Columnist of Epigram I was determined to expand the scope and coverage of performing arts at the University of Bristol and the wider city. I have written over 100 reviews on various genres from opera, panto, plays, indie rock, classical music to pole and aerial dance. My philosophy as an arts writer is simple: art is art irrespective of the genre. I refuse to be drawn into the artificial dichotomy of "Higher Art" and "Common Art". There are  poorly executed works of art or well executed works of art. Some of my reviews have been used for scholarship applications and grants. Also, some of my reviews have been used for Edinburgh Fringe promos, notably by the Anglo-French theatre collective, Voloz, Bristol Suspensions a capella group, Worms theatre and the Bristol based electronic artist, Sonotto. I followed the development of the latter since his debut album and introduced him as the "Bristol's answer to Ziggy Stardust" which he uses for promo. I also had the previlege of introducing the jazz saxophonist Benji Sandler to the Epigram readership. I have interviewed a range of creative personnel from performers to directors of multiple genres. I still keep a close eye on the new and upcoming artists at the University of Bristol and beyond.

I have been a contributor to the history magazine of the University of Bristol, Bristorian on various topics from Karl Marx to the Council of Trent.

I wrote around 100 articles for various sections of Epigram ranging from Feature to Opinion. This was a time where I was pushing the boundaries of art coverage where I made a point of covering opera, pantomime, classical music, musical theatre and jazz as opposed to the usual servings of indie music and theatre. I built a great rapport between various student societies, especially performing arts groups who entrusted me with their stories and annual shows. Some of my reviews were used for applications for scholarships and grants which makes me immensely proud.
