In August 2019 new investors came into the business and as 3 Co-Founders, we couldn't have been more delighted. It was a moment to reflect. To realise the worth we had created. MarkMonitor is predominantly a SaaS tech platform, that is able to search for IP & Trademark infringement online. 

The company protects major brands from being ripped-off and in so doing, helped to protect both revenue and reputation. At the time of working there, the client base contained more than half of the Fortune 100 brands.

In my own role, I was responsible for New Business sales in the UK and Northern Europe. From cold call to close - something that I love.

The role was a fantastic challenge as 'Brand Protection' is more often than not, an unknown cost to a business.  This needed skill and commercial business sense to build business cases for a spend that didn't exist!  I allowed clients to see the deep impact of online fraud and quantify the extent of the problem...a problem that required unallocated budget of anywhere between £30,000 to £300,000 a year.

Personal clients included Next Plc, Ryder Cup, European Tour (Golf), Olivia Burton, Movado, Lacoste Watches, Ferrari Watches, Fritz Hanson (Danish Furniture), Louis Poulson, Arne Jacobson....

MarkMonitor was a fascinating insight into the corporate world and a hugely valuable experience for me personally.

Digital Concierge was a start-up, privately back company, part of CellCity Pte Ltd. 

Working with the owners, I was responsible for sales, hiring a sales team to deliver against budget as well as partnerships with companies such as yell.com, Nokia, The Singapore Tourist Board and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
