Miller Leonard, PC is law firm practicing in the areas of criminal and civil litigation. The firm focuses on representing clients in federal and state criminal investigations, charges, and appellate or post-conviction matters. The firm handles individuals under investigation and facing Grand Jury subpoenas, along with assisting businesses under criminal and administrative investigation.   The firm also handles civil litigation.

I began my career at Legal Aid of Western Missouri and later moved to the Missouri State Public Defenders Trial Office in Kansas City.  I also worked as a state prosecutor and Special Assistant United States Attorney before entering private practice where I worked as an Associate Attorney for two firms before opening my own firm.

Prior experience

With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, I am a seasoned criminal and civil litigator.

I am also a passionate writer and educator, who shares my insights and advice on how lawyers and law students can navigate the legal job market, grow their network, and advance their careers. I have published a book and several articles on these topics, and I enjoy mentoring and coaching aspiring and practicing lawyers. My mission is to help lawyers and law students find their purpose, passion, and potential in the legal profession.
