Currently working at the DIFC Innovation Hub, managing several corporate innovation initatives. In 2023, I successfully led the first-ever Metaverse program aligned with the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, collaborating closely with leading financial institutions to explore new frontiers in digital interaction. My work also involves comprehensive program design across various sectors, ensuring alignment with ambitious projects and corporate objectives. A notable achievement includes spearheading the development of the Dubai AI & Web3 Campus, a visionary project backed by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum. Furthermore, I played a critical role in establishing Gaming, alongside Fintech, Sustainability, and Experiential AI, as one of the four flagship initiatives at the Hub. These endeavors collectively underscore my commitment to fostering innovation and guiding the Hub in becoming a leader in the digital and technological transformation landscape. Previously, my tenure with Plug and Play involved spearheading the launch of the Misk Accelerator, the first of its kind in KSA and an industry-agnostic program in partnership with the Misk Foundation. This initiative gained recognition, featuring in Forbes as one of the top 10 Accelerator programs in the Middle East. My efforts paved the way for further Plug and Play ventures in the Kingdom, including InsureTech and Cybersecurity accelerators. Additionally, I led the first-ever metaverse program in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications of Saudi Arabia, showcasing my capability in managing and executing innovative tech programs. Starting my career as the first employee at MAGNiTT, the leading VC data platform in emerging markets, I played a pivotal role in its growth and strategic direction. My journey saw me transitioning from multiple disciplines to becoming the company's first product manager, leading the Product/Data department. I was involved in managing several projects across Data, Product, and Research, as well as curating startups for accelerator programs and VCs. This experience laid a solid foundation for my understanding of the startup ecosystem and venture capital landscape.
