2. Competence earns trust. Your team needs to know you can make the call and solve problems. It’s the foundation for confidence.

3. Conviction keeps you moving. The path will get messy. Staying true to your principles and vision is what keeps everyone moving forward.

What excites me most isn’t just the product, it’s seeing the team stay true to those values even in the rush and under pressure.

And that brings me to my last point.

Don’t just be a good leader on the easy days.

Be a good leader when it’s chaotic, when things are slow, in wins, and in setbacks.

80% of consumers worldwide have abandoned a brand in the past year because of data privacy concerns.

People are welcoming AI like never before.

But that doesn’t mean they’ll accept a half-baked product or sloppy execution.

Sure, they want innovation and convenience.

But they also want transparency, privacy, and control and to know the tool they rely on respects them as much as it helps them.

As a CEO of Vacabee, I can say that sits at the core of our travel and lifestyle tool. 

Mr. Bee doesn't just book trips or act as an AI concierge. It prioritizes user privacy while making life smoother and more seamless.

Why does this matter? Because if any part of the experience feels unsafe or untrustworthy, the whole tool fails.

People notice when a company cuts corners. And they will leave for someone who fulfills every need responsibly.

It’s like selling a luxury car with a broken seatbelt.

That’s why you can’t rush, cut corners, or cheap out on the details, whether it’s AI integration, UX, or privacy safeguards. Customers see everything.

If your idea is genuine, your execution has to be genuine too.

As a founder, I can say only this with confidence:

The real power is in simplicity. Solve the core problem. Nothing more, nothing less.

Don’t add what you want. Don’t remove what your users need.

With Vacabee, I focused on a burning problem in travel and lifestyle: booking was scattered across multiple different platforms. 👇

Simplicity is unforgettable.

Most companies never pivot. In the age of AI and innovation, that might be the biggest risk of all.

We often get trapped by labels: “You’ve always been this type of professional,” or “This is what your business does now.” 

With AI expanding everywhere, holding on to old labels becomes limiting.

The technology is moving fast, and those who stay fixed on what they were risk missing out on what they could become.

Remember: it is okay to experiment, change does not mean failure, and the first step is often the one that removes the fear.

Some of the most successful companies pivoted too:

- Instagram started as a check-in app called Burbn before focusing on photos.
- Twitter began as Odeo, a podcast platform, before turning into microblogging.

If they could pivot, so can you, me, and anyone willing to take a bold, deliberate step forward.

Preparing for the autumn launch of Mr. Bee, our voice AI concierge for travel and lifestyle, reminded me how important intentional pivots are.

Expanding into lifestyle was a deliberate choice.

And that experience showed me that innovation should not be limited by expectations or past definitions.

Users still need better solutions for travel and everyday life, and that showed me this pivot was the right choice.

If there’s one myth I would gladly debunk as a CEO, it’s this:


Overnight success. And its illusion.

We all love a good hustle story. 
“He/she struggled and became a sensation overnight.”

Then you immediately compare yourself.

Here I am, working hard for years, and… nothing.

I’ve been there too. But 10 years of building my own company changed that mindset.

Somewhere along the lines, through hope, failure, and small victories, you learn that:

1. Accomplishment doesn’t have a timeline. Success isn’t a date on the calendar.
2. Consistency isn’t glamorous. Most days are just showing up, fixing small things, and hoping it all adds up.
3. Failures are invisible. The late nights, the deals that fell through, the ideas you quietly buried, they shape everything.

What I value now isn’t flashy recognition or overnight wins.

It’s:

Growing a business that lasts.
Building a team that trusts each other.
Making decisions I can stand by years later.

Because the truth is, your real success is invisible until years later.
