Compensation, merits and promotions planning and execution.

Responsible for people and engineering results of whole Log Monitoring capability. Had duties of Director of Engineering (without financial aspects). Focused on well-being, efficiency and growth of team members. During that time team was able to pivot and deliver MVP of completely new Log Monitoring solution, well received by customers.

I was leading team of six developers that was constantly improving Jira Data Center product in areas like scalability and performance. We tackle most difficult problems that affected clustered environment. 
As part of my responsibilities I work closely with product manager to set directions of development. I took part in customer interviews to get priceless feedback and create relationships with customers who helped us drive the future of product. 

Projects I took part in:
- cluster cache replicaton improvements (asynchronious cache replication) (Jira 7.x)
- search engine improvements (Lucene upgrade in Jira 8.x)

Senior Software Engineer

Goal of this project was to improve order management in small company. I was working closely with product owner to make release cycle as short as possible. This turned out to be very successful and we were able to create first production ready version in less than two months. It contained features like: creating, managing orders and elements. full text searching and creating labels for products. 

Second part of project was dedicated to modeling transformers and computing their electrical parameters, automation of packages addressing, resources (reels of wire) management and reports.

I am a seasoned software engineer with engineering management experience. Always passionate about solving customer problems. Common sense and Agile follower with a "no bullshit" attitude in whatever I do. I believe in trust, transparency, and an iterative approach.  

I am also a sport shooter and a fan of MTB and canoeing. My most important mission and the biggest challenge in life is being a good father of two.
