I am Miranda F. Walichowski, principal and founder of Human Architects, a professional development firm that helps small and medium-sized businesses and organizations develop the individual and collective capabilities of their leaders and teams by serving as the catalyst for increased energy, engagement, execution, and excellence Our philosophical approach is three-fold. First, we erase the divide between professional development and the important work in which people engage. We embed leadership, teaming, and individual development within the important work that individuals are doing to meet robust organizational challenges and goals. Second, we believe that the individuals working within the organization are the most equipped with answers and the ability to execute important goals. Thus, we do not see ourselves as external consultants giving officious direction. Instead, we serve in the role as coach and facilitator in order to make space for individuals to feel supported and allow their best work to emerge. Our partnership validates and sees the clients as whole and fully equipped with the capacity and knowledge to do impactful work. This approach makes business sense; it honors others as professionals and creates ownership, "skin in the game." We manage processes so that our clients can focus on content, deep reflection, innovating, solving problems, learning, and improving the way they engage as a team. Lastly, we see our mission as something beyond helping an organization meet its goals. We want to support the people, so they have the opportunity to feel fulfilled and not depleted at work. Our greatest hope is for people to experience leaving work with greater energy, satisfaction and fulfillment, which then allows these individuals to have more to give in their second shift (taking care of loved ones, pursuing education, engaging in hobbies, volunteering, taking care of their health, and more).
