I’m obsessed with Culture, Brands, Technology, and all things Marketing/Advertising. I believe that we are living in one of the most interesting, challenging, and transformational times in modern history... and I'm excited to help build the future. I have deep operator experience uniquely spread across the agency world, consultancy, brand side, and venture capital. I was most recently Chief Brand Officer at Hannah Grey VC, an early stage thesis-led generalist firm. I supported portfolio founders with Go To Market strategy, including but not limited to shaping brand development, content, PR, and winning first customers. I also led development of the Cultural Vibrations thought leadership and thesis-building platform: writing, producing, and editing the 2023 and 2024 Annual Journals, and all Quarterly Trends Reports. I also participated in dealflow review and investment diligence. Previous roles include serving as CMO of Virtual Dining Concepts, Head of Strategy at creative technology agency dotdotdash/TBWA, and SVP at MediaLink, a boutique strategic advisory firm operating at the intersection of Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment, Tech, and Finance. Prior to MediaLink, I was the SVP, Global Head of Futures & Innovation at Blue 449 (now Spark Foundry), a Publicis Media agency. I led the launch the Blue 449 brand in the US market in 2015, and helped to develop it's positioning, culture, and product offering. From a client service perspective, I oversaw the PUMA global account across 34 markets, as well as led planning and innovation for DJI (drones and imaging). Prior experience as VP Strategy at Zenith Media included leading holistic communications planning across all channels for clients including H&M and Kering Luxury brands. I was also a core member of Liquid, an internal think tank and service offering for all Zenith clients, focusing on Ideas, Innovation, Tech, and serving as the lead content creator for annual CES and SXSW coverage. I earned an Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis University, where I received immersive instruction in Berlin, Shanghai, Tokyo, NYC, and Silicon Valley. I'm a California native, and received BAs in Political Science and Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley. I currently sit as a Board Director of the nonprofit International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), and have been quoted in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, NPR, Business Insider, The Information, Vogue Business, The Business of Fashion, Forbes, Fast Company, Morning Brew, and PSFK.
