Senior Lecturer in Finance at Griffith University Gold Coast Campus specialising in teaching Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I hold a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Bachelor of International Finance (Honours) and PhD from Griffith University with research interests in higher education teaching as well as behavioural finance. My research interest in the area of teaching is focused in how technology has influenced teaching in higher education and how blended learning techniques have been used to enhance student learning outcomes. I have presented at blended learning symposiums, international teaching conferences and have been a reviewer for journals in education and finance. I have completed postgraduate studies in higher education, acted as a reviewer for international teaching conferences and have been awarded a Faculty Learning and Teaching Citation (2010) a Griffith Award for Excellence in Teaching (Highly Commended) (2013) and Winner (2016) as recognition for my teaching expertise. My research in finance is concentrated on the investigation of stock markets with a view to determining and exposing mis-pricings in stocks. My research has contributed to enhance the body of knowledge in one of the most unpredictable and influential areas of finance – asset pricing and return predictability. My publications include articles in the Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions and Money, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Multinational Finance Journal, Accounting Research Journal and JASSA among others.
