As an HR Consultant with Paychex I provided Human Resources solutions for employers in Califorina.  I supported clients of various industries, sizes and, cultures.  

Supported clients with; employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, development of employee handbook, Wage and Hour compliance and various employee and management training, and much more. 

Supported the team manager with the HR Generalists by providing direct HR support to the HR Generalists as needed.  Coordinated communications between various departments within the company to ensure client needs are met by acting as an account manager to pull all Paychex departments together such as sales, 401k, FSA and payroll to provide all clients necessary services and/or information.

Human Resources Consultant

First Data Corporation

Responsibility for all HR functions at the distribution center with over 400 employees.  Participated in acquisitions and due diligence while the prior company was being acquired by First Data.  Developed and facilitated the New Employee Orientation program which significantly reduced employee turnover.  Managed the safety recognition program and conducted ergonomic assessments for the staff.  As in house HR,  conducted all workplace investigations from start to finish.  Managed and reviewed the performance appraisal process for all employees to ensure accuracy and compliance in the documents and with the process.  I facilitated employee focus groups to solicit feedback to continually evaluate employees satisfaction to ensure that the company culture goals were achieved.  Continually worked with staff, supervisors and senior management to ensure effective communication.  Had ongoing and frequent communication with the Executive team to ensure there was a connection with all levels of staff.
