I would then work with them and discuss the best route to reach their goals through membership and upselling other products within the club. To gain new leads I would often run referral events within the club and do prospecting in the surrounding area. I worked with local large corporate companies, building rapport with the relevant personnel to arrange meetings and events within the company.

Meeting with prospective new members, touring them around the facilities, discussing membership options and closing sales. My weekly tasks also involve outreach work, lead generation and acting on other leads by email, telephone and in person. I am very comfortable working in a sales environment and would always strive to exceed targets set. I was responsible for approaching local businesses and actively generating and retaining corporate sales and business through regular contact and visits.
