“A world class brand manager. World. Class.” - Mark Ritson, global marketing expert. Over the last decade, I’ve led the marketing for start-ups, scale-ups and ambitious brands. Then in 2015, to help my brands stand out and grow market share, I saw the opportunity to work on strategies that focused category disruption. “Huge talent for strategic thinking and razor-sharp execution on activities” - Kate Hopcraft, Snr Director Communications, Kayak. So I started exploring ways to bring creative ideas from other categories into current ones. The initiatives immediately started to gain traction. In just 12 months, I turned negative sentiment for a large non-domestic brand into one that is loved and trusted. “...done it all; his success is best summarised by taking us from from underdog right through to being the market leader” - Thomas Zois, Snr Product Manager, OpenTable I took this approach into my roles since. I spend my time exploring ways to carve out strategies that drive meaningful attention and intention. I achieved phenomenal results across tech, gaming, entertainment, wagering, two-sided marketplaces and consumer lifestyle, spanning across B2B, B2C and B2B2C. Highlights so far: → I turned OpenTable from foreign competitor into category leading brand in Australia → I launched Australia’s first Christian Computer Games company into the global marketplace → I drove $12M+ in revenue across 12 months for 100 solopreneurs → Co-established London’s first dedicated dining rewards loyalty program → Led UK, Singapore, India and ANZ expansion efforts for a market-leading property SAS. → I managed the rebrand of a B2B business, and led the brand revitalisation of a B2C platform. Some of my results: → 200M+ reach through organic and earned efforts within the niche computer games entertainment category → 5X organic traffic through content strategy → 35%+ in network growth in saturated marketplaces My mission is to help others find their disruptive advantage in their category.
