This isn't a pretty about section, but I figured I'd better put something here that helps you understand a little bit about me. Regarding work... I try to make work fun because that increases productivity. Nobody wants to go to a job each day that's no fun. I really enjoy understanding how a business runs. If I don't understand how it works, it's hard for me to innovate, so I like to get to know people in other departments who can help me understand different pieces of the vision and how they interact. I enjoy the design phase of projects. I love thinking through the best architecture for the situation. I love learning new things. New coding languages, new software tools, new anything. Give me a new topic and I will get up to speed on it quickly. I love public speaking. I will happily take the presentations :) Personally... I'm a girl dad, and family is most important to me. I love reading to my girls. Boxcar Children, Peter and the Starcatcher, Geronimo Stilton, you name it. Anytime I can read a book with my kids is a good time. I love Japan. I lived there for much of my life, and I hope to visit often. I want to get into long-range bicycling. I think it would be awesome to bike the coasts of Japan someday (bucketlist).
