Working to build value focused products and help teams along the way. I enjoy working on challenging, REAL world problems, and uncovering creative opportunities to solve them. I can remember the specific moment I knew I wanted to go deep into technology, and more importantly, that I wanted to learn how to leverage it for good. In 2012, I was in my 5th year of military service and preparing for a mission. A contractor overheard me talking about a limitation with one of the systems I was operating and how I needed it to perform a task it was not capable of performing. Little did I know, this contractor also happened to be the engineer that designed the system. He walked over, asked a few questions, opened up a terminal, wrote a few lines of code, re-compiled it, and just like that - solved a huge problem that made all the difference in the world. At the time it felt like magic— a superpower that I knew I wanted to unlock myself. Since then, I’ve dedicated time and energy to develop the skills and experience required to enable effective problem solving. I’m now on a different kind of mission to enable others to do the same.
