The Marketing Arm

Responsible for facilitating the in-house video production and photography needs of The Marketing Arm and their affiliates. The position's was created out of a need for a permanent video and motion graphics editor of video recaps for awards submissions. However, this position has the potential to exceed the parameters of its requirements. The list of services currently available include:
• Pre-Production (budgeting, crew assembly, script development & social media strategy)
• Production (behind camera video capturing)
• Post-Production (editing)
• Audio Recording, Mixing & Mastering
• Lighting for interviews and small scale light set-ups. 
• Motion Graphics, Kinetic Typography (After Effects)
• Commercial & Studio Photography
• Retouching

Digital Media Artist & Creative Producer

A part-time office assistant position working at the front desk of The Marketing Arm assisting the Office Manager in the day to day tasks of the agency. 
• Answer incoming calls/emails & redirect to the appropriate parties.
• Assist with managing and distributing all internal and external mail & deliveries.
• Sorting, ordering and distributing appropriate office supplies throughout the office
• Assisting employees and assessing personal needs of various teams.
• Provide training and troubleshooting of various digital interfaces, including multimedia conference rooms, video projection and basic IT related issues. 
• Set up for client meetings and assistance with conferences.
• Troubleshoot problems with office machines, & supplies.
• Assist Office Manager with staff functions & events. 

Freelance Video Production, Editing, Motion Graphics, Commercial Photography & Retouching:
While working part-time for The Marketing Arm, I also took on freelance work both from The Marketing Arm and outside of the agency. Documented work from The Marketing Arm included:  
• Motion graphics for AT&T, Dallas Cowboys campaign video recap.
• Video editing & motion graphics for sizzle reel for Wells Fargo pitch.
• Reverse Thinking motion graphics & kinetic typography for Hilton Garden Inn pitch. 
• Tostitos & Kroger Celebrity Chef video for online media campaign pitch. 
• Life at The Marketing Arm video for TMA LinkedIn. 
• Video & photography documentation of AT&T Fanzone Truck at opening Cowboys game.
• Re-edit and audio editing of Stella chalice video pitch.
• Video editing for TMA 20 - Save The Date - video.
• Frito-Lay Follies video filming, lighting, green-screen assembly and editing.

Freelancer & Office Assistant

BEYOND

Contracted event lighting, audio and video set-ups for large and small scale events. 
• Operated in a team building environment of technicians to timely and successfully execute events.
• Assisted in setting up and tearing down the appropriate sound and video equipment for various conferences, shows and events.
• Minor programming of DMX lighting equipment and digital audio boards.  
• Gear transport from warehouse to venue.

Principal photography/editor of individual client requested projects and company funded media documentation including producing, directing and retouching/editing.
• Wedding videography & editing for various weddings in the Northwest Arkansas area.
• Portrait & wedding photography in the Midwest and East Coast for couple and group portraits.
• Media documentation of ACTS and Encounter Mara in and around Kenya, Africa. This included panoramic photography of landscapes and social documentary style video and photography documentation of non-profit projects and a Mara safari camp. 
• Photography and videography for individual musicians and conferences in the Czech Republic.

Commercial Photographer & Videographer

John Brown University

A member of a campus team of videographers, sound technicians, stage crews, light technicians and graphics technicians that facilitated campus events including concerts, talent shows, and hosting guest speakers. I began as a member of the video production crew whose primary obligations were filming and switching live video production. In addition to these roles, I also assisted in setting up and tearing down the appropriate sound and video equipment for various conferences, shows and events. I eventually took on the responsibility of learning event lighting, which involved programming concert and theater lighting performances. This required the knowledge of DMX programming on various lighting systems including: 

• Whole Hog III. ( either the ipc or roadhog variant)
• Leviton - small show boards
• Elation 128 Board
• Elation Show Designer III
• ION and Electric Theatre Controls, Inc
• American DJ - Mydmx

Eventually I transitioned into audio mixing live events as well. This primarily was a position focused on the acute ability to distinguish desirable instrumental frequencies and troubleshoot various equalizer related issues.

Lighting Technician

As a Lin Pictures Intern my responsibilities primarily consisted of script coverage and general office management. Along the way I ended up becoming the office chef, to my great surprise, as I had never really cooked before. 
In addition to my intern duties, I was also able to assist in:
• Story conceptualization on various television pitches for Warner Brothers executives. This developed into several break away ideas for potential future feature film ideas for Lin as well. 
• Script editing and critiquing for projects in development at Lin. 
• Set development and concept photography for the Chris McKay, co-director of upcoming animated feature of The Lego Movie set for release in 2014. 
• Retouching and editing of conception imagery for film pitches.

Lin Pictures Intern

Supervised Photography Internship

Independent photography intern under the supervision of photographer Donata Wenders. 
This internship consisted of the personal selection of a specific documentable subject in Berlin and being critiqued by a professional photographer. During this time I also assisted several other small studios in the Berlin area to learn commercial photography. 
• Documented various Berlin musicians including street musicians and high profile artists.
• Worked in a portrait and product studio learning principles of commercial photography.
• Assisted with on-location shoots with professional photographers including Donata Wenders.

Indepedent Photography Intern

MKBRUNER 

Following a brief stint in America, he departed at the age of three with his family to the recently
post-communist Eastern Europe. After a life spent living between the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, and travels spanning over two dozen countries and four continents, adapting to the simple life was out of the question. The only way forward was to find a means to embrace others’ stories while embracing his own.

Graduating from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Film & Photography, he currently works as a freelance creative producer and photographer.
