I had the amazing privilege to work for and learn from my mentor Pete Musser for over 15 years.  As Managing Director, I worked with legendary investor and philanthropist Pete Musser to find private equity opportunities and work with great entrepreneurs for his family office.  Pete was the founding investor behind Comcast, QVC, Novell, and Cambridge Technology Partners.  He is Chairman Emeritus and founder of Safeguard Scientifics.  The Musser Group helps take companies to the next level by providing growth capital and counsel to entreprenuers.  Leveraging 53 years of history and the experience of building over 500 companies, The Musser Group is unique in approach, network, and capital services.

As Managing Director, Mike spearheaded the creation of the merchant banking model; recruiting of a team of 12 investment professionals; completion of over ten transactions; successful public offerings raising in excess of $50million dollars; and the successful exit of two companies to Fortune 100 firms.
