My name’s Melissa and I currently work as a Patient Financial Rep for YRMC where I manage and coordinate the processing, modification and completion of medical claims for a number of insurance providers such as Medicare/Medicare Advantage, Banner, Humana, Allwell and United Healthcare. I work with tools such as EPIC (EHR software), company databases, insurance provider portals and MS Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, and Outlook) which all allow me complete my day to day responsibilities and any additional tasks. I am currently open to new opportunities and roles such as customer support, recruiting coordinator, administrative support, operations associate and project coordination. I have extensive experience (8+ years) in providing high-quality customer service and support, administrative support, data entry and management, order fulfillment, account management, training and onboarding new hires and clients, project management, calendar management, and taking on new challenges. Tech skills: Microsoft Office/Google Suite(Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, OneNote, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc), Zoom, TEAMS, Slack, Familiarity with CRM Software (Salesforce), PM Software (Notion, ClickUp), Design software (Canva, Adobe), etc. Soft skills: Adaptability, strong verbal/Written Communication skills, analytical skills, creative problem solving, critical thinking, keen attention to detail, time management, willingness to learn and help others. My interests and passions lie in being involved in projects/activities in which allow me to help others and learn more about mental health.
