GES's mission: Provide solutions that help engineering firms achieve higher levels of project efficiency and profitability.

As the principal consultant of GES, I provided solutions to engineering consulting firms, builders and manufacturers that helped them operate and deliver projects more efficiently. I did this by:

• Carrying out project evaluations
• Offering gap analyses
• Updating or developing custom-made project and design management frameworks 
• Providing custom-made training programs
• Mentoring and coaching senior managemrnt and engineers (one to one).

I have also designed, developed and facilitated engineering courses and workshops for Engineering Education Australia (EEA). My courses included:

•	Becoming a Consulting Engineer 
•	Consulting Skills for Engineers
•	Winning New Work as a Consulting Engineer

In addition, I have authored an 8 module online, self-paced course called "Construction Tenders and Bids" for EEA.

Director of Infrastructure - Roads, Bridges and Tunnels

As an Associate Director, I led a team of designers that delivered Infrastructure Projects. My Clients included Developers, Oil Companies, Local Authorities and Agencies in the UAE, Iraq, KSA and Mauritius. 

As a member of the Civil and Infrastructure Team, I worked closely with AECOM's in-house Master Planners, Urban Planners, Public Realm Designers, Architects, Environmental Specialists, Sustainability Experts, Structural and MEP Engineers as well as Transport Planners to provide a one-stop-shop to our Clients. 

In addition, I was required to ensure we secure new projects by submitting technical and financial proposals that demonstrated our true strength and our range of expertise as well as our "can do" approach. 

I was also an Accredited Trainer of "Managing AECOM Projects" (MAP). This was AECOM's signature program for training its project managers to do things the AECOM way and demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness our clients have come to expect.

•	Actively Participating and Presenting in Internal Technical and Knowledge Sharing Workshops with Other Ramboll Branches Worldwide
•	Ensuring Adequate Resources are Available for All Projects
•	Conducting Market Review and Development of Business Plans and Strategies

•	Bidding and Contracts Negotiations with Clients.

I worked with AECOM (formerly known as Cansult) as a Senior Project Manager for the Roads and Infrastructure Team.

I managed the design of the Phas VIIIB of Kuwait's Sewerage Programme. This project included the upgrading and replacement of the sewerage in 8 districts in the State of Kuwait.

For the Marine Department I was responsible for the restructuring of the department which involved:

- Liaising with clients and recruiting staff. 
- Delivering the required designs and reports. 
- Managing financials.

Senior Project Manager and Head of Marine Section

Worked on the stormwater master plan for the entire state of Kuwait. I was the project manager for this project in Abu Dhabi and the senior designer in Kuwait. My team and I reviewed 5500 drawings, created numerous Infraworks models for the 700+ km of trunklines, carried out optioneering activities and developed the master plan strategies, option and implementation plans.

I started as a Design Engineer and in 1996 was promoted to a Project Manager's position. 

Most of my projects during this period pertained to Hyder Consulting's Consultancy Agreement with the Sewerage Project Committee of Abu Dhabi Municipality. During this period, I worked on numerous sewerage, drainage and irrigation design projects during this period and provided design supports to the Site Supervision Teams.

Design Engineer

Key project in the UK with Hyder Consulting pertained to the update and Upgrade of Mitcheldean Water Treatment Work. 

Involved as a designer from the project inception to hand over of the site. During the Construction stage I acted as the Assistant Resident Engineer.

Over the course of my 30+ year career, I have worked on projects that comprised master planning, design, project management and site supervision of various civil and infrastructure components such as road, bridges, tunnels, metro systems, airport infrastructure and their associated utilities.
