- Scanning incoming post, completing data entry and archiving files.
- Assessing grant applications while prioritising own workload.
-  Distributing grant applications to assist the team with an effective streamlined customer service efficiency.
- Taking own initiative by providing support to the project assessors and managers.
- Identifying new ways of working by promoting continuous improvement.
- Building effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Complying with tight deadlines to meet business needs in accordance with service levels.

Corporate Assistant

The Prince's Trust

The primary aim of the role was to be ‘the face’ of The Prince’s Trust and be an advocate of the work the organisation does through attendance and public speaking at various events. 
Other responsibilities were:
- To empower and inspire young people and actively participate in the work of the Prince’s Trust while developing leadership, communications and decision making skills.
- Presenting to a range of audiences to support outreach programme delivery and taking opportunity to influence the government to help shape services for young people. Attended events such as:
‘’Inspiring Leaders’’ at Morgan Stanley
“What’s Stopping You” supported by Barclays to discuss barriers of young people in Birmingham
Get Into Transport & Engineering supporting the candidates in their journey.
- Assisted in the recruitment process of paid Prince’s Trust staff, sitting on the interview panel and actively questioning and reviewing candidates alongside line managers and fellow team members.

Centro (West Midlands)

Customer Contact Officer/Customer Relations Executive (1 year)

Responsibilities:
- Dealing with customer enquiries that came in by: e-mail, letters and answering phone calls.
- Complaints handling in a diplomatic manner, dealing with account queries such as applications, direct debits, corporate accounts, senior citizens and people with disability bus passes.
- Analysing and investigating all incoming cases, ensuring work is compliant with data protection.
- Liaising with internal and external departments, developing effective relationships and attending meetings for development and strategy reviews.

Centro - Bus Station Supervisor (4 months)

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day to day safe and efficient operations of Centro’s Bus Stations carrying out Health and Safety checks, dealing with public transport inquiries and liaising with various operators and contractors. 
- Dealt with anti-social behaviour and completed incident reports, carried out speed checks, and monitored bus driver behaviour to ensure Bus Station rules and regulations were adhered to. 
- Contributed to the timely departure of bus services, provided support to the cleaners, identified and resolved hazards to minimise risks to the members of public and staff.

Centro - Travel Shop Customer Service Assistant  (9 months)

Responsibilities: 
- Provided travel advice and journey planning services and retailed tickets to meet customer’s journey requirements.
- Cash handling and own till reconciliation.
- Investigated incidents of travel disruption and provided customers with alternative journey options.

Customer Focused Apprentice - completed various roles as part of an Apprenticeship Programme

Participated in a 30 day placement with a number of transport companies in order to gain training and work experience. This was an intense and challenging placement which involved undertaking a wide range of tasks and  developed an understanding of what is required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers at Bus Stations, Garages and within Human Resources and Customer Relations departments.
- Assisted in the delivery of First Class Service on Virgin Trains providing strong customer service, handling cash and dealing with any complaints. Achieved two awards and nominated  by Centro to work 2 years' with them on a apprenticeship scheme, this was due to exceptional determination and hard work and also by maximising this opportunity. I successfully completed the programme with excellent feedback from all the delivery partners of Prince's Trust. I also developed extensive understanding of what goes behind the scenes of each department and found it exciting to learn about the different companies that were involved.

Prince's Trust - Get Into Transport programme with National Express, Virgin Trains, Centro

- Providing customer service
- Handling disputes and complaints while monitoring transactions are legitimate
- Solving technical issues. 
- Specialised in projects and programmes relating to fraudulent card activity.
- Maintained and sent reports to external clients in accordance with service levels.
