Development of electric battery assemblies for the new generation of fully electric Mercedes vehicles for the customer Daimler. 
Modelling and development  of battery control unit assemblies: Plastic electric pins headers, sheet metal components and plastic housings.
- Design of plastic and sheet metal components and assemblies of battery control units for installation in the new generation of fully electric Mercedes vehicles (automotive industry).
- Preparation of training documents and training of employees in the use of form and position tolerances and the dimensioning according to DIN 16742
- Function based design of plastic components and the corresponding form and position tolerancing according to DIN 16742 as well as the preparation of drawings and parts lists suitable for production.
- Coordination with neighboring departments (electromechanics, hardware development, project management, toolmaking...)
- Technical management of a design engineer at the Poland site (introduction, training, creation of task packages, status queries and coordination in English).

- Production-ready design of plastic and metal parts as well as assemblies of the fluid system of Bosch and Siemens fully automatic coffee machines using the 3D CAD program Siemens NX.

- Execution of feasibility studies, plausibility checks, technical calculations, tolerance analyses, installation space considerations, FEM simulations (NX Nastran)

- Design of components taking into account the technical requirements as well as the cost, functional and quality objectives of the component or module.

- Functionally correct design of plastic components and the associated form and bearing tolerances according to DIN 16742 as well as the preparation of drawings and parts lists suitable for production.

- Participation in FMEA and DRBFM in various development stages of components and modules.

- Technical project management for an externally developed module: Creation of the specifications, solicitation of bids, onboarding of the service provider / development partner, continuous support during the project and ensuring compliance with the requirements.

- Working in agile interdisciplinary international teams (design / lab / quality / production - in Slovenia and Poland).

- Technical coordination with suppliers and toolmakers (DFM, tool concept, moldflow analysis).

- Documentation of development and release of components in PDM system (Teamcenter).

- Creation of design standards and provision of the standards in Teamcenter for the entire design department using UDF and own symbols.

- Elaboration of designs with the help of Siemens NX.
- Creation of technical drawings, parts lists and part issues in Teamcenter.
- Preparation of specifications and request for quotations

o Introduction of cylindrical inserts for roof superstructures including local stiffening for weight 
   reduction

- Analysis and identification of weak points of existing systems for weight reduction.
- Development of alternative solutions including calculation and design.
- Ongoing optimization for maximum weight reduction.
- Programming of an Excel tool for the calculation of sandwich panel properties.
