IT Department at HBFC has four AS 400 installed in major cities of Pakistan. Furthermore, 11 zones and 58 districts are connected with Zones and Head Office using different WAN protocols. HBFC was considering of having VPN solution and I was looking after the different options and alternates available.
In addition to responsibilities of IT was given additional charge of Executive Director HR & ADMN which  I have carried out sucessful during tenure of contract.

A senior level position reporting to Chief Executive Officer of the company. NIFT is an automated cheque-clearing house owned by consortium of 6 leading banks of Pakistan working under State Bank of Pakistan. I was responsible for overall supervision of the entire operations of the company including the IS Controls implementation. The operations were of very sensitive nature running round the clock and have a team of 130 people. Duties included overseeing the operations of the company, software and hardware requirements and selection, liaison with different banks vendors, consultants, etc.

Responsible for complete data processing functions of NJI operating through out Pakistan having an environment of LAN & WAN. Besides day-to-day operations my responsibilities was to recommend the management for betterment of IT functions of NJI. Involved in the selection of software consultants, drafting of agreement and monitoring of software design, development and implementation of general insurance software. Also responsible for hiring and training of IT personnel.
NJI being a pioneer in health insurance during my tenure I was assigned to re-design, develop and implement their Accident & Health Insurance System (AHIS) software.
