•	Ensuring the bills raised are correct and complies with the terms and conditions agreed with individual customers.
•	Generating and forwarding account statement to customers on monthly basis and also upon their request.

•	Providing the documents of doubtful debtors to the Head of Finance for onward submission to the Debt Recovery Agency or the legal department.
•	Providing the details of bad debts to be written off as per the receivables aging report.

Senior Executive Credit Control

Working with the Credit Control Department of a leading multinational vegetables & fruits importer & distributor in the Sultanate of Oman.
•	Creating new customer accounts after verifying the credit application, commercial registration certificate, chamber of commerce certificate, ID proof of owners / partners, approved list of authorized signatory, customer agreement and obtaining the approval from the Head of Finance upon the terms & credit limit proposed by the Business Development team.
•	Updating / revising the credit limit / terms of the existing customers in the Customer Master after evaluating their creditworthiness.
•	Manually posting the invoices which are on credit stop due to violation of credit terms / limit after obtaining payment confirmation from the customer / sales team.
•	Ensuring all the receipts are properly accounted & allocated in the accounting software as per the payment details provided by the customers.
•	Preparing credit notes as per the type of deductions mentioned in the payment details which are based on the customer agreements.

Providing the details of doubtful debtors to the Financial Controller.
Proposing write off of irrecoverable accounts to Team Manager / Finance Manager & prepare files to transfer those accounts to the Debt Recovery Agency.
Preparing the summary of debtors ageing as per the requirement of the Finance Controller. 
Handled 147 customer accounts of Sharjah, Ajman & Umm-Al-Quwain areas including the following key accounts of Safeer Group, Manama Group, Nesto Group, Istanbul, Ansar, etc. till March 2016.
