Your body is unique, your life is unique, so your wellness routine needs to be unique too. This is what I believe as a fitness coach. The people who come to me seeking advice are FED UP. They’ve tried “everything” to get in shape but nothing works or (potentially even worse) things work but no results stick for longer than a month or two. I’m sympathetic to these people because I used to be exactly the same. Let’s rewind… I’m Molly 👋 I grew up as a competitive gymnast and dancer. I moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue a career in professional dance. I started performing and teaching dance classes, but quickly realized that I felt more passionate about taking my dancers through their CONDITIONING than choreographing dance performances. So, I stepped back from my dance career and created MFit Workouts in 2013. I have been active as either a competitive athlete, a professional dancer or a certified fitness coach since I was 5. Now, that’s all sounds nice… but here’s what happened in between all of that: My weight went up and down 20lbs every few months for 7 years due to over-training and burnout. Ankle and wrist injuries forced me to stop exercising for months at a time. I was bloated, tired and stressed even though I was exercising frequently. A concussion forced me to completely alter how I move my body forever. The concussion turned out to be a good thing (sort of… I mean it was horrible) as it helped me create the MFit method. MFit Workouts blend low impact cardio with functional strength training and corrective exercise to help people get results that not only make them look good but feel energized, less stressed and pain free too.
