Olympic Workforce Development Council

The Olympic Workforce Development Council was formed in 1998, and works in partnership with the nine county commissioners of the Olympic Consortium Board to provide policy guidance and program oversight for WIA activities within the service delivery area of Kitsap, Clallam and Jefferson Counties. The Council develops strategic and operational plans for the approval of the Olympic Consortium Board and the Governor.

Champion the cause of higher education in the Kitsap/Mason County community by raising money, taking care, and providing the money to better the lives of students, programs, staff and faculty at Olympic College.

Leadership Tomorrow

Leadership Tomorrow prepares, challenges and engages emerging and existing leaders through leadership development for the benefit of the Puget Sound region. The organization's programs enlighten, inspire and transform participants, who come from a diverse array of professions and communities. They work together collaboratively for nine months and experience first-hand the value of community service; how effective leadership works in the public, private and non-profit sectors; and how community issues and projects impact our region. Participants are inspired to act, form lifelong connections and improve our region's ability to address challenging issues.
