If you're not challenged and consistently learning, then what's the point? Everyone should have long and short term goals in place. I'm not afraid to take initiative and put what I've learned over the years to good use. As my kids entered their teen years and seemed to need less of my time, I found myself lost in the evenings and weekends while they're out living their best lives. I have wanted to return for a Master's for years, but the timing has finally worked out. USD has a wonderful program that allows me to balance my family/work/school life effectively as I'm once again a student - this time for an MBA with a specialization in Supply Chain and Operations Management.
