When I encounter a novel situation, I turn myself into the expert who can make it right. I don’t believe in getting stuck; instead, I research, troubleshoot, and pursue new resources until I find the solution. Some of my proudest achievements started when I took over a difficult problem in a new business area and quickly learned what I needed to move forward. I used these skills every day in my leadership roles at Academics in a Box and Lafonn. I dedicate a significant amount of time to self-teaching and practicing new skills.
