As an e-commerce customer service consultant, I provided assistance to customers, retail partners, and retail managers/employees via phone and email regarding order/fulfillment issues, order updates, technical problem solving, delivery and product questions, and account inquiries. I utilized my strong communication skills to resolve customer issues and generate repeat business through phone orders, email, live chats, and social media, ultimately generating over $121,000 in sales within the first 4 months and achieving a customer experience score of 99.7%. I interfaced daily with various internal partners in accounting, order fulfillment, operations, online support, merchandising, sales, and consumer affairs divisions across the Americas, United Kingdom, and Asia to ensure that all customer needs were met. To maintain accurate records of customer interactions, I utilized Salesforce and ZepDesk CRM to keep track of all customer inquiries and interactions.

As a senior assistant to the manager, I delivered an omni-channel strategy to drive incremental business by developing systems and procedures across four departments to improve operational quality and team efficiency. I analyzed the E-commerce website daily and implemented local advertising, as well as collaborated with local businesses to identify new customer segments, resulting in a $75K increase in revenue in one year. Additionally, I improved the performance of online platforms by 45% by actively engaging 20K fans through Facebook and Twitter with information about new product arrivals, in-store events, and promotions. To ensure that we met our KPIs, I monitored and reported weekly customer experience KPIs and business results. I also devised sales tools and training and improved sales efficiency by establishing and managing a direct marketing commission‐based program, in which 35 sales representatives for the toy department were hired and trained in a two month period, ultimately doubling sales over the first two months.

If only I could see how many unfollows I got from yesterday’s post!  👀 It had to be said.

I wanted to clarify a few things since it seems some may have missed the point or misunderstood my intentions.

First and foremost, I have great respect for everyone who takes the time to read and comment on my posts.

However, after 16 months of consistent activity on LinkedIn, it’s become easy to spot comments like:

“Thanks for sharing.”
“Nice post.”
“Well done.”

These are the types of comments I was referring to—not those that express disagreement

(I would never delete those; healthy discussions are always welcome!).

As I mentioned in my previous post, how do comments like these add value? Did the commenter even read my post? Are they part of PODs or possibly fake profiles?

When I encounter such comments, I review the commenter’s profile, check their comment history, and then decide whether to delete the comment.

If this type of low-effort commenting is a pattern, I go ahead and block them.

If you got this far and want to know the specific reasons, read on...

There are a few disadvantages to writing and accepting these types of comments:

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿:
❌ It doesn’t build credibility or authority.
❌ It adds nothing to your personal brand.
❌ It wastes of time and doesn’t contribute to meaningful engagement.
❌ It can harm your reputation (appearing as low effort, possibly in a POD).


𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗣 (𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿):
❌ It doesn’t contribute to authority building.
❌ Your comment section becomes cluttered.
❌ Your network finds little value in the comments.
❌ You risk being accused of participating in a POD.
❌ There’s a lack of genuine engagement with your community.

and 2 very important ones (if the ones below weren't already!)

❌ It dilutes the overall quality of discussion, making it harder to create meaningful conversations.
❌ It can decrease the overall visibility and reach of your posts, as low-quality engagement might affect how the algorithm treats your content.

This last disadvantage is so important: When someone comments on your post, their network is likely to see it. If the comment is low-quality, it reflects poorly on your content and brand, which is not a good look for all the reasons mentioned above.

At the end of the day, I’m committed to creating meaningful and valuable interactions on this platform.

If this doesn’t resonate with you, I’m sorry, but I’ll always do what’s best for my personal brand and the space I want to build.

One of the most powerful ways to truly connect with your audience is by linking your story to something they might be going through.

When I was dealing with self-doubt and uncertainty about starting my business on LinkedIn,

I felt lost, unsure of my next steps, and genuinely afraid of failing.

But when I opened up about my struggles and overall journey, something amazing happened—

I realized I wasn’t alone, and they discovered they weren’t either.

This simple yet powerful approach changed how I approach storytelling.

Connecting your story to your audience’s pain points:

✅ Builds a strong emotional connection.
✅ Makes your stories more engaging.
✅ Helps others feel understood and less alone.

The key is creating a connection through shared experiences.

So next time you tell your story, think about what your audience might be going through and how your journey can resonate with them.

Ask yourself these questions:
❓What is my audience struggling with right now?
❓ How can this part of my story reflect their experiences?
❓ What lessons can I offer that will help them with what they’re facing?

Sharing your story is great for letting people get to know you, but there has to be something in it for them too.

It’s “where” your clients are in their journey.

Here's what that looks like:

Picture your clients at a crossroads, feeling stuck and frustrated.

They realize something needs to change, but not sure how.

Maybe they've come across your work on LinkedIn
and started thinking about where they want to be.

It’s not just a goal; it’s their dream life, their “why.”

This is where your brand’s promise fits in.

As they try to move forward on their own, they hit a roadblock or two.

Here your clients are most vulnerable but also most open to help.

Maybe it’s self-doubt creeping in, unexpected challenges, or uncertainty about what to do next.

They look around, thinking, "Now what?”

These are the moments when they need you the most.

So your brand steps in and offers to guide them.

But remember, you’re not just selling a product or service!

You’re offering support, solutions, and guidance tailored to where they are now and where they want to go.

You’re bridging the gap between their current reality and their dreams.

So next time you’re writing your post, put yourself in their shoes and go through the journey they’re on.

Think about their frustrations, dreams, and the support they need from you to reach their goals.

This perspective will help you write a post that truly resonate
and show how your brand can play a role in their success story!

It’s frustrating.

You put effort into your content, expecting results, and some days it’s crickets.

The day before, I had a post that did surprisingly well.

And then this. It messed with my head.

But here’s the thing—I’m not letting it ruin my week.

We all have those days.

Some posts will hit, others won’t.

The key is to: 

✅ Learn from what flopped 
✅ Don’t obsess over one post 
✅ Keep showing up (stay consistent) 
✅ Tweak, adapt, and always move forward 

So no—this flop won’t stop me. It’s just part of the journey.

Clarity doesn’t come from thinking.

It comes from doing.

That’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned on this journey.

As an avid planner and somewhat of a perfectionist, 

I used to believe I needed to be fully prepared before taking action.

This mindset often left me feeling unready, leading to further delays.

But here’s what I’ve discovered:

Start taking steps, even if they’re small.

Here’s why:
→ Thinking alone creates confusion. 
→ Doing clears the fog. 
→ Testing reveals what works. 
→ Failing teaches faster. 
→ Succeeding solidifies your path.

Yet, most people remain stuck in the planning phase.

This is why so many never feel ready to start posting.

So if you’re uncertain, act first.

It’s the only way to discover what truly works.

Ask yourself: What can I do today to get one step closer?

I found my ideal client the moment I stopped looking for them (seriously!).

A year ago, during my first pivot, I was lost—just like you might be now.

I had no clue who my ideal client was.

I was fumbling around, trying to figure it out.

Then I realized: My ideal client was staring back at me in the mirror.

❌ They were confused about where to start.
❌  They had passion but no clear direction.
❌  They had potential but lacked guidance.
❌  They wanted results but didn’t know what steps to take.
❌  They were seriously searching for someone who “gets it.”

If this sounds like you, know that you’re not alone.

A year ago, I was right where you are now.

And now, I talk to people like the “me” from last year.

✅ I speak their language.
✅ I understand their struggles.
✅ I know what they need before they do.

You know why? Because I was them!

So if you’re still unsure who your ideal client is, start by looking at yourself a year ago.

Ask yourself: What advice would I have liked to receive? 

Then, give that same advice to others.

That’s your starting point.

I almost became homeless this week.

(I’d be lying if I said it was the first time)

Being a digital nomad sounds amazing, right?

Who wouldn’t want to work while traveling to beautiful destinations?

But there’s a side no one talks about.

After spending a year in Albania, I have to leave soon for 3 months to reset my visa.

A few days ago, I found myself panicking—I had no idea where to go next.

Prices are skyrocketing all over Europe, and the holiday season hasn’t even started yet!

I needed to find somewhere fast, somewhere both my dog and I could call home.

There’s a lot to juggle:

➡ finding a place
➡ managing costs
➡ maintaining relationships

It really takes a toll.

It’s a strange feeling, building a life in one place, only to suddenly have to start all over again.

You leave behind friends, familiarity, and a sense of home.

Being a nomad is freeing, but no one tells you how easily it can leave you stranded.

Fortunately, I found a place yesterday. Next up: book flights!

So I’ve learned to adapt—you have to, or you won’t make it.

But, man, it’s tough when you’re constantly starting over.

Still, I can’t complain… this is the life I chose.

Sharing personal stories can be tough, but here’s the thing…

When you truly believe in your story, everything changes—you start feeling excited to share it, even if it feels a bit vulnerable.

I totally get it—sharing personal stories isn’t always easy, especially with strangers online. 

The fear of being judged, appearing unprofessional, or being misunderstood is real.

But when you believe in the value of your experiences, that fear starts to fade. 

You realize your story isn’t just about you; 

it’s about the impact it can have on others.

And here’s the thing—according to the Content Marketing Institute (CMI), 92% of consumers prefer content that feels like a story. 

That’s because stories resonate on a deeper level.

So if you’re holding back because you don’t want to feel exposed, remember this: 
your story has the power to connect, inspire, and help others who might be going through something similar.

Your storytelling posts won’t resonate unless you know this inside out:

the pain points of your ICP.

It might feel like a painstaking task to figure this out, but unless you do

you’re message won’t stick.

Why?

Because once you truly understand their struggles, you’ll know exactly what grabs their 
attention and how to connect with them using your own personal stories.

Here’s how:

1️⃣  Identify the pain points
⪼ Start by pinpointing the key challenges your ICP faces.
⪼ What keeps them up at night?

2️⃣ Relate to their struggles
⪼ Share a personal story where you faced similar issues.
⪼ Authenticity is key—make it relatable and real.

3️⃣ Show your solution
⪼ Explain how you overcame these challenges.
⪼ Highlight the steps you took and how they can apply to your ICP’s situation.

4️⃣ Connect emotionally
⪼ Use emotional language to build a bond with your audience.
⪼ Empathy can turn potential customers into loyal supporters.

5️⃣ Offer actionable advice
⪼ Provide practical tips that helped you and could help them too.
⪼ This positions you as both relatable and knowledgeable.

If you are skimming through, here is a simple checklist:

✔ Understand their pain points
✔  Share a genuine personal story
✔  Show how you solved similar issues
✔  Create an emotional connection
✔  Offer practical, actionable advice

By integrating your ICP's pain points into your story, you establish trust and credibility and you won’t have to worry about sounding overly promotional.

Why some posts get zero comments (and how to fix it).

I used to wonder why some posts get tons of comments, while others just...don’t.

Then it hit me—if you want people to engage, just ask.

It’s not luck, and there’s no secret formula. It’s about inviting people in.

They love to share when you make it easy for them.

Here’s what I do:

✅ Ask a question
↗ It's the easiest way to start a convo & people love sharing their thoughts.
↗ Example: “P.S. What’s the best advice you’ve ever ignored?”
✅ Share a controversial opinion
↗ Say something bold that challenges people.
↗ Example: “Work-life balance? Totally overrated. Agree?”
✅ Tell a story
↗ Share something personal and ask others to share too.
↗ Example: “I bombed my first presentation so bad. How about you?”
✅ Do polls
↗ Super fast and simple, and people love clicking things.
↗ Example: “What matters more: creativity or discipline?” Add 3-4 options.
✅ Give a clear Call to Action.
↗ Be specific. Tell them exactly what to do.
↗ Example: "Tell me your thoughts below." Simple and clear.

Bonus tip: Engage with those who comment on your post.

A quick reply or follow-up question keeps the conversation going and shows you’re interested.

I personally don't do this often, but adding "pinned" posts to your comment section with additional info or even random thoughts and pictures can get people to interact more.

Bottom line? It’s all about making it about THEM, not you.

When people feel seen and connected, they’ll engage.

When we’re not constantly racing against the clock, 

we can focus on quality over quantity and build something that stands the test of time.

Success that lasts is built on patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of what we’re offering.

So, why not take a step back, celebrate the small wins, and trust that slow progress is still progress?

Sometimes, the steady path leads to the most meaningful success—

the kind that feels truly earned.

What do you do when your dreams of living in NYC turn into a reality check?

I moved to the city with excitement and hope,

ready to settle long term and chase those dreams.

But after a year, life had other plans.

My savings were running out.

I was juggling all kinds of side hustles just to make ends meet.

Rejection after rejection piled up from job applications.

To top it off, my relationship ended.

Needless to say, NYC wasn’t working, and I had to face it.

So, after a year of trying, I packed up and moved to my mom’s home in PR.

It wasn’t easy, and my ego took a hit, but it was a necessary step.

Everyday I began teaching English at 5am for 4 hours.

By 9am, I was studying LinkedIn like a textbook and brainstorming business ideas until bedtime.

No distractions, zero social life, just focus.

After 4 months of grinding, I finally built up the courage to move back to Europe.

This time, I embraced a new dream: becoming a digital nomad and pursuing my solopreneur journey.

It’s been 13 months since I moved back.

I found a career I love, live by the beach with my dog, have the freedom I craved, and I couldn’t be happier!

➜ Here’s what I learned: Sometimes, stepping back is a crucial part of moving forward.

If you find yourself feeling lost or stuck, remember that every setback can lead to a new opportunity.

Focus on your next step, and don’t be afraid to pivot as many times as you need to!

Ever felt like your story isn’t worth sharing?

I felt the same way (this is what changed).

I thought my story had some value, but not LinkedIn-worthy value.

So, for the longest time, I held back from sharing anything personal.

I figured, “Who would care?”

I wasn’t a millionaire, hadn’t launched a startup, and didn’t have any groundbreaking success to boast about.

Everyone else seemed to be sharing these big, flashy achievements, and I thought,

“What could I possibly share that could compete with THAT?”

So, I only talked about my business.

Then, one day after an incident with a client, I decided to share all of it—the highs, the lows, and the lessons I’d learned along the way.

No flashy success, no overly polished edits. Just my story—mistakes, stumbles, and all.

And guess what happened?

→ People actually related to it.
→ They appreciated the authenticity.
→ Unexpected conversations started happening.
→ My story actually connected with my target audience.

Lil ol’ me got her first hateful comment, and while it’s not something I usually focus on, I think it’s worth addressing.

So last week, I recently received my first hateful comment, and honestly, I wanted to share it with you all.

And yes, this person has been blocked.

I know some of you deal with these kinds of comments often, and let's be real—

there's no reason to tolerate such behavior, especially on your own profile.

To be clear, this person doesn’t follow me and has never engaged with my content before. 

It’s interesting how someone can jump to such conclusions without any real interaction.

I must admit it stung a little at first (I’m human), but then I realized it’s just part of putting yourself out there.

Here’s the thing: I believe in creating a space that’s positive and respectful.

We all deserve that.

And sometimes, that means setting boundaries and not allowing negativity to take up space in our lives.

So, to anyone who’s ever dealt with this kind of thing, know that you don’t have to put up with it.

Remember, you’re in control of what you allow into your space, and it’s okay to protect your peace.

Let’s keep our conversations thoughtful and supportive.

Am I the only one who just realized there are only 4 months left in 2024?!

I’m not going to lie... this realization has put a bit of pressure on me to work on my New Year’s resolutions before the year ends.

If you’re anything like me, you like to write things down.

Since I’m sharing this with 14K of you, I figured it might help keep me accountable.

I encourage you to join me in this exercise —

write down everything you want to accomplish before the year is over.

I’ll go first:

1. Start my day at 6am
2. Exercise for an hour daily
3. Prepare for my free masterclass
4. Announce my group online course
5. Finish my digital products and website
6. Plan my 44th birthday bash with friends
7. Move out of Albania for 3 months to reset my visa

All of this while continuing to do what I’ve been doing for the past year: 

posting regularly, working on client projects, and teaching online.

With that said, I wanted to take a moment to update you all on what I’m currently working on and, 

hopefully, inspire myself and others to keep pushing toward our goals.

Let’s finish 2024 strong!
