How to Web (howtoweb.co) is the leading startup&innovation conference in Eastern Europe, taking place in the beautiful, vibrant Bucharest (Romania). The conference is the meeting point for founders, investors, innovation, and tech executives developing industry-changing solutions.

HTW Institute aims to contribute to the development of the next generation of European product managers through courses and workshops held by the world’s leading product innovation specialists. Annually, more than 250 professionals are expected to graduate from the HTW Institute courses.

Some of the instructors: Bob Moesta, Ash Maurya, Bruce McCarthy, Matt Lerner, Rich Mironov.

Responsible for:
*managing the project implementation
*launching HTW Institute 
*designing the Product Management Foundation Course structure
*inviting the instructors at the course and workshops and managing the communication with them

Project Manager - HTW Institute

Initiating and managing various strategic partnerships in Romania and Europe, with a focus on promoting startup methodologies into local and international organizations. 

My main focus is on organizing and selling workshops on fundamental topics of product, growth, and teams conducted by some of the top experts and operators of the tech world in live and interactive workshops designed for the online environment. All How to Web workshops include at least 2 live sessions (max 3 hours/session), with no pre-recorded materials, and have a limited number of participants.

Due to my analytical and organizational skills I successfully complete a wide range of tasks. Starting with defining rapport templates based on users behavior and continue with analyzing different type of users and defining persona. Another project was to create a strategy to update the company website and to lead the team I was working with. 
Most of the tasks were from the Digital Marketing area which made me curious and I've started to study more about this subject. To complete my tasks I'he learned to use a wide range of tools, like Google Analytics, Moz tools, Wordpress, Email marketing tools (Sendinblue, MailChimp) and some others which helped me to monitor and analyze user experience on website.

This is me — Monica, a ceaseless problem-solver, peer connector, and risk-taker. I’m currently Head of Conference at How to Web, a project where I can leverage my skills to bring the maximum impact in the community I activate in. 

The main goal is to connect the brightest minds with future opportunities and give them all the resources, context, and inspiration to do so. 

Since taking over the How to Web Conference, I’ve managed to build the biggest edition so far, with over 2,000 attendees and 70+ speakers from all over the world. This outcome will be the foundation for our future editions, as we plan to keep #building.
