I plan, manage, and execute system-wide engagement projects and programs — including the rollout of the annual engagement survey, coordination of employee engagement committees, volunteerism efforts, and rewards and recognition programs.

This role is vital to fostering a positive workplace culture by promoting employee involvement, strengthening community connections, and supporting UC Health’s mission and values. I collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing & Communications, Inclusion, IT, and Operations to develop and implement long-term engagement strategies that drive retention and cultural transformation.

Passionate about advancing equity, culture, and people development, I also serve as Chair of the UCMC Inclusion Council, advocating for an inclusive workplace where every voice is valued and every individual can thrive.

Talent Management & Inclusion - Consultant

The Community Impact Liaison connects UC Health to the greater Cincinnati area, engaging local neighborhood, community, business, and civic leaders to advance partnerships around shared priorities. The Community Impact Liaison will advise the organization on how it should strategically focus its resources – both financial and people – to improve the physical and economic health of the community while advancing the UC Health brand and strategic goals. This is a public forward-facing position serving as a liaison between UC Health and the communities we serve. The primary responsibility of this position involves connecting UC Health teams with our local communities, fostering positive relationships, and promoting community involvement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community development, be a strong communicator, empathetic, capable of efficiently handling various inquiries and requests, have a results-oriented team attitude, and be capable of implementing creative engagement strategies.

This position reports to the Vice President and Chief of Government and Community Relations, works alongside the government and community relations teams, and with senior leadership, clinical and faculty leadership, and others to assist in the development and execution of UC Health’s strategic and community health strategy.

Community Impact Liaison 

•	Act as a brand ambassador, focus on delivering an exceptional talent pipeline while providing proactive and timely communication to UC Health leaders, and serve as subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition and provide career direction to candidates.
•	Collaborate with site leaders to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive workforce development strategy focused on recruitment and hiring including targeted strategies to support existing and new pipelining opportunities.  
•	Coordinate with Leaders and UC Health partners to design and implement strategies to fill critical positions by working with area schools and community partners. 
•	Collaborate with Marketing to compose and coordinate placement of local, regional and/or national recruitment advertising.
•	Assists with interviewing and hiring for pipelining hiring events such as Nursing Co-ops, City Link, Novice programs, Healthcare Exploratory students, Career Fairs, etc. 
•	Collaborate with HR Operations and RPO to retain, recover, and place employees who did not thrive in current role (ADA).  
•	Oracle Project Management- Position Management, Model Profiles, Report Building/Testing, New Hire Documentation.  
•	Proactively initiate and maintain relationships with local educational institutions, professional organizations
•	Help expand and develop co-ops, cohorts, fellowships, internships, and other hiring programs to attract candidates. Actively participate in recruiting events and marketing/media events to promote, sell, and retain the best qualified and talented staff.  
•	Research and compile data, dashboards, and performance metrics to track, trend and report progress for high schools/colleges, community events, career fairs, co-ops/role transitions, and pipelining projects for effectiveness, process improvement, and hiring conversation rates. 
•	Act as a liaison between pipelining stakeholders (i.e., Schools), and Talent Acquisition (RPO), bridges the hiring gap with candidates.
