Responsible for reviewing and updating the Santander UK plc Corporate Governance Framework and advising internal stakeholders on the associated policies and procedures to ensure best practice is adopted and embedded within the business.

Secretary to the Santander UK plc Pensions Committee and operational subsidiaries including Santander (CF Trustee) Limited, the entity responsible for making investment decisions on behalf of the Santander UK plc pension fund. Secretary to  Hyundai Capital UK Limited, a joint venture between Santander Consumer (UK) plc and Hyundai Motors.

Member of the company working groups established to prepare and disseminate guidance in relation to regulatory changes including the Consumer Credit Licence Full Permissions Application, Senior Managers Regime, Market Abuse Regulations and the preparation of the Santander UK Resolution and Recovery Plan.

Providing full support to the Secretary of Standard Chartered PLC Audit Committee and the Secretary of Standard Chartered Bank. Responsible for the coordination and administration of Court and committee meetings.

Reviewing and providing feedback to senior management in respect of reports submitted to the Audit Committee and Court of Standard Chartered Bank.

Project managed the 2012 Standard Chartered PLC Annual General Meeting working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of this high profile corporate event. 

Provision of legal and corporate governance advice to the business to ensure best practice is understood and embedded.

Senior Assistant Secretary

Responsible for building a client portfolio of UK companies through the provision of management and company secretarial services.  Actively identifying and progressing new client relationship opportunities and securing new business.

Main areas of responsibility included: 
- Operational compliance and governance – drafting minutes and maintaining statutory books;
- Corporate transactional support in relation to the acquisition and management of UK assets; and
- Developing the Directors’ Induction Seminar Programme for ABN AMRO Bank – UK Branch.

Sole responsibility for providing governance support to the UK subsidiaries of ABN AMRO Bank - UK Branch (including ABN AMRO Markets (UK) Limited, ABN AMRO Fund Services UK Limited and ABN AMRO Project Finance Limited).
