Seriously Addictive Maths [S.A.M] is a maths enrichment programme based on the Singapore maths method. Suitable for children aged 6 - 14, S.A.M focuses on building a solid foundation to help children discover the ‘why’ and not just the ‘how’ of maths.

Initially tasked by the business partners to launch the real estate division, I was responsible for building and mentoring a team of agents and concurrently establish a high-end portfolio of properties. By establishing an excellent relationship with developers and investors, we enjoyed rapid growth, profitability and built a substantial reserve allowing a graceful exit from the industry following the 2008 downturn.

Subsequently, I headed up the aviation division with the remit of becoming a premium supplier of components to the aeronautical industry. Due to the high quality and integrity standards, the company received its GCAA certification in record time and became a top line local supplier to several aircraft regional operators [Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Etihad] and MROs, achieving revenue of USD One Million within the first six months.

During my decade of work at the world's largest provider of business training courses and seminars as well as B2B exhibitions (including Arab Health, Cityscape, NAJAH etc) I was primarily engaged in two roles:

* Director - Online Services *

• Heading a team of eight technology professionals operating the web-based CMS
• Project managed the rollout of primary exhibition website platform from specification, troubleshooting to the implementation phase. This was subsequently replicated across eight business units which led to an annual saving of USD 120,000
• Created in-house robust e-content distribution platform for the benefit of delegates
• Supervised team of outsourced professionals to improve online presence across a portfolio of websites using the latest search engine optimisation and content marketing methodology

* Manager - MIS and Database *

• Growth and hygiene of the most established database of business professionals in the region
• Training and support across the entire staff user base (approx 60 staff) on IT and application usage
• Training and support on advanced applications on MS-SQL for Database team
• Commissioning, installation and ongoing maintenance of CRM program which allowed the integration of the database, marketing and customer support databases
• Overall responsibility for all IT assets for the company including support, warranty management and end-of-term disposal
