I'm a passionate, strategic content marketer with over 10 years experience delivering content that delights, inspires, and engages. I love to dive into all things messaging and positioning, build comprehensive content strategies, research content trends or competitive comparisons, interview customers and write best-in-class case studies, brainstorm blogs, map out editorial calendars, improve SEM and SEO strategies, and tie together organic and paid approaches. Collaboration is vital for me - I often say that while I have great ideas, they're always made better once they bounce off of someone else. Beyond my work, I speak at events and conferences on content marketing, multicultural communication, and women in tech. I grew up in NYC, got my bachelor's and master's in the Netherlands, and then ended up in South Africa for almost a decade before moving back to the US, this time to Phoenix AZ. Living all over the world has helped me understand a range of personalities and cultures, have casual competency in a variety of languages, and also completely ruined my accent - although I'm told it sounds cool. I'm also married to a software developer and raising our incredible second-grader, regularly cuddled by two cats.
