At the end of 2019 I made the “radical" decision to resign from my job of over 15 years to take time to reboot, refresh, learn, and grow. I reconnected with friends, family, and colleagues. I weathered a pandemic. I leaned-in to communities & mentorship. I focused on giving. I learned new skills & trades. I reconnected to my core leadership values of service, empathy, and compassion.Heck, I even started a farm!

I was luckier than most to be able to take an open-ended leave from the working world. But I encourage everyone to make space in their lives to step back, reflect, and reboot now & then. Stillness is an important part of being able to move forward.
