Mr. Marven Millan Semidey, Esq. is a Board-Certified Attorney from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer where he supervised Marines at a company-level unit in support of the mission at hand. He also provided preliminary legal advice at a brigade-level unit in the US Army. These experiences provided him with the tools necessary for his legal practice. Initially, Mr. Millan Semidey's practice was in Family Law. However, he moved from Puerto Rico to the United States due to Hurricane Maria. Immigration Law became his passion after gaining invaluable experience in various big Law Firms. He decided to open Millán Law Office with a focus on access and towards his clients. This allowed him to grasp the humanity of the migrant community. Educating clients on their legal rights and obligations, analyzing the ever-changing issues, and representing refugees in removal proceedings has become his vocation. Mr. Millan Semidey's work ethic is driven by a passion for the plight of the refugee community, a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to helping others.
