•	I provide innovation and technical consultancy services to organisations within the Recruitment industry.
•	The projects that I have worked on range in size and complexity, but cover the entire spectrum of recruitment operations.

Some examples are:
•	Contracted with a leading supplier of workforce management software solutions to provide business analysis to an implementation with a Global Recruitment business in their Benelux region.
•	Contracted with a national recruitment brand to act as Head of PMO and take a lead in the implementation of a large-scale contract (which generated £500k in gross profit) to mobilise the recruitment, payroll and training of a 750-strong temporary field-based workforce within a Central Government department.
•	Working with the Sales Director of a multi-national staffing business to create a new strategy to increase volume sales solutions across Managed Service, Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Contingent Workforce.
•	Engaged by one of the country's largest outsourcers to develop and take to market a service offering to the NHS, which included outsourced contingent workforce solutions and a management consultancy product to aid in the reduction of recruitment agency spend throughout the contracting trust. This was proved considerably valuable to this business as I went on to secure an £18 million 5-year partnership with a Central London NHS Trust for workforce outsourcing, as well as a Management Consultancy project with a South-Coast based trust, before handing the service back to the business at the end of my contract.

Innovation and Technical Consultant 

G4S Policing Solutions

G4S Policing Solutions is a specialist recruitment business dedicated to providing policing consultancy and staffing solutions to UK Police Forces, local and central government, regulatory bodies and the private sector. These solutions are sourced from our well maintained, bespoke database of former police officers and specialist staff.

As Head of Sales, I oversee the supply into third party managed services and our relationship with the Managed Service Providers. I am also responsible for seeking out and winning new business opportunities.

As Head of Business Improvement, I have strategic responsibility for Quality and Compliance. I have managed the implementation of a Quality Management System, which has resulted in being awarded ISO 9001 certification. Along with this, I oversee all matters of compliance and vetting relating to our temporary contract workers.

I am an experienced Public Sector Account Manager and have experience of providing recruitment solutions and managed services through optional and mandated frameworks to various areas, including Central Government, the Emergency Services, the NHS, Local Authority (in particular Social Care) organisations. 

Currently, I am working as the National Account Manager, with contract management responsibility for various public sector frameworks, including Government Procurement Service (formally Buying Solutions) and the NCES National Emergency Services framework. I have the opportunity to work within an existing client base, building relationships with key stakeholders in Government Procurement, Buying Solutions, client HR and procurement teams and others in order to identify, develop and gain new or additional business and services for the company. 

My main focus recently has been on Central Government and the Emergency Services, but I have also been supporting the company and clients in other areas of the public sector, such as ALBs, NDPBs and NHS organisations.

As part of my account management responsibilities, I also work with the Reed office network to ensure that supply and service to the client is precise, excellent and market leading. This also involves being the escalation point for any service delivery problems that occur through our account coordination teams as well as the ‘KnowledgeBank’ that the network can go to for any client or framework specific questions.

Public Sector Business Development and National Account Manager

During this period, I was the On-Call Manager for Reed Social Care, where I managed a team of 14 people, providing out-of-hours customer service to the clients and candidates of the divisional branch network.  I also managed any operational projects and change processes that were demanded by current business needs.

Improvement of On-Call (out-of-hours) team performance
•	Increase of average team fill rates from 16% to 55% of bookings received over one year
•	Authored and implemented new operating procedures to ensure processes were defined and practiced across the service
•	Cemented relationships with the branch network, their clients and candidates by way of face to face meetings, constant feedback opportunities and carrying out regular Experience of Service questionnaires

Operational Change and Project Management
•	Successfully managed and supported a change process that changed the divisional weekending date from Sunday to Friday to bring invoicing and payroll into line with larger organisational best practice
•	Provided an operational IT support service, working alongside IT projects to ensure successful delivery of IT projects including requirements gathering, UAT validation and operating manual authoring
•	Successfully negotiated a new agreement with an external supplier of invoicing and payroll data and services
•	Carrying out of 4-weekly analysis of sales margins and reporting findings and possible solutions, ensuring that our recruitment branches are working on worthwhile business and that any contract or principal business can be re-negotiated to ensure greater margins.

•	Member of the divisional and company-wide senior management team
•	Working in partnership with divisional director and senior sales managers to tweak our sales/recruitment teams to ensure constant and consistent growth of net income per consultant and therefore profit contribution per branch

Operations Manager - Social Care Division

Working within the social care division, out of office hour’s on-call team to ensure that clients can still get a good level of service and ensuring that Reed candidates are placed within shifts appropriate to their experience and availability.  This role entails a high level of communication, customer service and team work.  There is also a need to implement escalation procedures when it is felt that management need to be involved in a process.

The link between the Faculty, School and Students’ Union.  Helping to support the communication of student issues and key themes within the relevant structures throughout the University.

- Assisting with recruiting volunteer Student Representatives in my schools
- Attending school and faculty meetings and monitoring agreed actions
- Collating student opinion on certain issues and themes in particular from staff student committee meetings
- Keeping in regular contact with key stakeholders, including faculty deans, heads of schools, staff and trustees of the Students' Union
