Joined Ariadne, a corporate finance advisory firm, which also held small equity stakes in several early-stage companies, to focus on advising technology companies on capital raises from Series A stage onwards. This included detailed analysis of the financial position and creditworthiness of clients and developing pitch books to present to potential investors.
In addition, I gained further exposure to venture capital transactions for the Ariadne Fund, leading due diligence and negotiating and drafting deal terms; and supporting portfolio companies with business development, strategic partnerships, and follow-on financings. As part of my role I undertook Fund portfolio reports for meetings with limited partners, including valuation updates and returns analysis.
