Are you sabotaging your content reach?

Every day people on LinkedIn with good intentions do not realise they are sabotaging the reach of their content.

Here is what typically happens...
✔ You send an age crafting a perfect piece of content to share on LinkedIn
❌ A few minutes after posting you see someone else's post and hit repost

That repost (or sharing another post) just sabotaged your original post's potential reach.

WHY? The algorithm is geared to focus on your most recent content only.

If you want to repost or share a send post in the day then leave a gap of 3-4 hours before doing it.

Well according to LinkedIn...

I can foresee a problem which happened I  the workplace with Facebook years ago...

The time staff spend on the platform rises but productivity remains the same or even falls.... because everyone is playing games!

It's a comment I often receive when working with clients, and I understand why they would say it.

Their perception of my work on LinkedIn is based on a far-off view, not a close-up observation of what is actually happening.

Just like the video illustrates, your distance from the situation affects your perception. 

So some clients see me at work on LinkedIn and think he is flying and working at a rate I don't think I could maintain.

But that is based on a perception which makes me appear to be some sort of LinkedIn superhero (I'm far from it 😬)

But as you get closer and watch what I do you will see that I spend on average just 30 minutes a day engaging in LinkedIn activities that lead to new business opportunities.

Now that is something that most people can do...
