Merissa is an educator with 13 years experience and holds a masters in E-Learning & New Media Design. During the pandemic, she dived into learning the stock market through her investment in GameStop, created a Podcast for new retail investors and those wanting to learn about Web 3. Merissa was a Discord mod for a server of 24,000 members, a Reddit mod, grew a following on Twitter, helped manage the community, organized and hosted Twitter Space calls of 1,000 plus listeners where she interviewed industry professionals and became an advocate for market transparency. She is combining her passion for Education with her passion for technology, AI and Web3 as an Educational Consultant to Edtech companies and educational institutions and is a member in Ed3DAO, the first Decentralized Autonomous Organization built by and for educators.
