As the General Manager of Quality, Energy & Excellence at Sidpec, I am responsible for applying continuous improvement methodologies in energy efficiency and quality, as well as advocating for sustainability and business excellence. With over 10 years of experience as an energy expert at UNIDO and a lecturer at PQI, I have developed a strong background and expertise in four fields of interest: instrumentation and control, engineering management, quality engineering, and energy efficiency. My mission is to leverage my skills and knowledge to enhance the performance and competitiveness of Sidpec, one of the leading petrochemical companies in Egypt and the region. I am also passionate about sharing my insights and best practices with the wider engineering community through publications, presentations, and training sessions. I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and a UNIDO-qualified Energy Management System and ISO 50001 Expert certification. I am also a senior member of several professional societies and syndicates, such as ISA, ASQ, IIE, and IEOM.
