•	Manage the product line life cycle. Strategically plan the product positioning, roadmap, and future market expansion as well as execute tactical activities related to product development and sales.
•	Identify and prioritize critical customer needs for current and future products by conducting market research consisting of visits to customers, attending trade shows, conducting phone interviews, and using other research tools such as focus groups, ethnographic research and concept testing.
•	In collaboration with internal and external resources, generate compelling market requirements documents for new product development. 
•	Perform market and competitive analysis. Identify our competitive advantage and key differentiators, and then work with marketing to successfully position and message the product to the market.
•	Set product pricing and discount in conformance with the approved business model, product profitability and in concert with the sales and distribution channels.
•	Work with the project manager and project engineer to validate and revise the market requirements, and provide input and approval of the product technical specification. Participate in product design reviews and project phase sign-offs, giving approval to proceed when appropriate. Responsible for generating the Product Validation Test, which evaluates how well the product satisfies critical customer needs.
•	Work with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all areas of the company to execute that plan and help them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

I work with the world’s largest fitness manufacturer ensuring that our retail partners, such as Costco Walmart.com, and Mattress Firm have product in the right stores at the right time, maximizing sales for both parties. As a member of the product planning and sales team, I am responsible for forecasting production needs for 30+ retail and E-commerce accounts, which account for over $85 million in annual sales. I conduct market research on our competitor’s products using data to drive product related decisions. I also act as the product manager for the WASP tool, owning the product from ideation to production. To be successful in these roles, it has been necessary to work cross-functionally with teams and build relationships with ICON’s buying team, retail buyers, and the executive team.

I created an online fitness coaching company which focused on college students and offered an array of low-cost options to help them achieve their fitness goals. We focused on three core principles: 1) Accountability, 2) Mental Aspects of Performance (MAP), and 3) Exercise and Nutritional Program Design. I created the marketing material, social media pages, website, and coaching methodology from scratch and enjoyed every minute of it.

At any given time, I managed 4-6 projects from start to finish while meeting customer deadlines and budget targets. I also played a key role in training and implementing my client’s quality management system. In an effort to streamline projects for NovaQual, I developed quality management system templates for various ISO and FDA standards which led to a decrease in project turnaround time.  I also created the company’s first IT management system and implemented it for a government client in a short 3 months.

I was at the forefront of Gold’s Gym increasing revenue during 2012 to 2013 by 46%. I developed and implemented a youth fitness program which brought in over $3,000 the first week and added revenue during the traditional sales slump of October to December. In addition, I created a marketing campaign which increased membership sales by over 50% during the same period. I had the privilege of leading, training and mentoring a team of 2-4 fitness consultants with the responsibility of ensuring membership and personal training profitability and overall member satisfaction. Prior to being promoted to Director of Sales, I played an integral role in establishing a solid membership base as a fitness consultant, always outperforming my peers in monthly sales
