Talent and Development Shared Services Coordinator

As the Talent and Development Coordinator I am the first point of contact with Team Members(Employees).

My responsibilities include

-Preparing and conducting onboarding and orientation for new Team Members.

-Answer questions Team Members have around Pay, hours, benefits and other issues they face.

-Effectively using systems like ICIMS for onboarding and creating jobs.

-Using HRIS systems such as TMC, TMTM and Document Portal.

-Acting as a brand ambassador for FGF' culture.

Talent and Development Site Coordinator

Weston Foods

As per my role as Operations Coordinator my responsibilities included the following.

-Oversee the schedule making process, enter Team Member hours of work, time off including vacation, adding historical amount for a previous date worked

-Effectively used Microsoft Office to create word documents with the appropriate letter head, font size and visual appearance in a professional environment.

- Used strong computer skills to operate SAP which is a software designed to create Purchasing Orders (POs) for Businesses who have a contract with the Bakery.  SAP allows to create POs for each individual vendor, my role included preparing POs for both small vendors and big agencies like Staff Plus, Manpower and Lead On.

-Effectively used Kronos timekeeping and payroll system to pay each team member on weekly payroll cycle. Carefully entered in all hours for all team members, checked to ensure everything was correctly inputted by supervisors with access to Kronos, added any outstanding pay in the form of historical payment. Approved any unapproved Over Time so that Team Members would receive OT once approved by management.

-Oversaw almost 200 Team Members including both full time and part time. Responded to their requests both in person and Via Email.
-Prepared orientation packages which outlines all rules, procedures, protocols and contact information to new hires.

-Booking , scheduling training for TMs including Safe-Tech Training, communicating with other vendors with regards to missing invoices or outstanding invoices. 

-Communicating with Payroll on a daily basis to inquire about missing pay for TMs to requesting T4 information.

-Workday is an HRIS system dedicated to providing information for all TMs. As per my role as Operatons Coordinator, have to ensure all onboarding is done for new applicants, applicants information is updated time to time including work permits, visas and SIN information. Workday also allows to input Team Members on leave.

Operations Coordinator

Shoppers Drug Mart

-Was responsible for receiving and sending items including envelopes, parcels and packages to Canada, US and to International Countries.

-Handled money transfers for both sending and receiving via MoneyGram International. Always careful to act in accordance to guidelines set forth by MoneyGram International and AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

-Assisted customers on a day to day basis and maintain a courteous and polite manner during each shift.

- Acted as a direct liaison between Shoppers Drug Mart and Canada Post.

Post Office Clerk

Steam Dry Canada - National Service Provider For The Home Depot Canada (Cleaning Services)

•	Utalized background information of the company to address customer questions and concerns to clear doubts, and gain customer trust.

•	Sold customers duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, and upholstery cleaning services and products.

•	Able to achieve daily targets which was 8 with a high success rate.

•	Worked diligently and recorded and processed all leads and delivered them to sales management by the use of faxing.


•	Promoted brand awareness and image for SteamDry Canada by speaking on behalf of the company at the Home Depot store assigned.

Rotary Club of Mississauga Malton 

As a program coordinator, my responsibilities included

•Using effective time management skills to plan out activites for the Seniors program and the summer youth program.

•Using strong analytical skills to develop a word and excel table to keep track of the budget of both the seniors program and the youth program.

•Use strong problem solving skills to adapt to any situation at hand

•Able to effectively use Microsoft office word, excel and powerpoint to prepare flyers, budget sheets, attendance tables for both seniors and youth. 


•Work well with other staff members to ensure that the planned events are carried out in a professional and efficient way.

•Report to the program director on  a weekly basis with regards to the activites and events conducted for  both the senior and youth programs.
