As a Process Engineer at Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd., I monitor and analyze crucial KPIs, manage start-up and shutdowns, and execute capacity test runs for diverse units, including UOP Crude Distillation, Vacuum Distillation, Gas Concentration, and Visbreaking units. I leverage my expertise in Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD, and other simulation and modeling tools to optimize refinery operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and apply rigorous energy optimization techniques. I also prepare data-driven reports and provide insights to improve petroleum production quality and efficiency, while adhering to stringent product specifications and safety standards. With almost 8 years of refining experience, I have worked with esteemed organizations such as Engro Fertilizer and Nestle Pakistan during my engineering course, and completed a competitive fellowship funded by Stanford University, where I developed business skills such as communication, leadership, problem solving, and teamwork. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, where I also obtained multiple certifications from Aspen Technology.
