I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Red Buffer, a leading AI/ML company that provides innovative solutions for various domains and industries. I joined the company in Jan 2022, after graduating from NUST with a BE in Electrical Engineering. At Red Buffer, I have been involved in designing and developing end-to-end applications that use machine learning or deep learning, such as advertisement campaign bots, risk detection bots, video recommendation systems, and anomaly detection for financial forecasting. I have used various tools and technologies, such as PostgreSQL, GPT-3.5/ChatGPT, Selenium, YOLOv5, TensorFlow, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms, to create robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that improve KPIs, latency, and throughput. For example, I re-designed and improved the risk detection bots for industrial mining vessels at sea, increasing the F1 score from ~60% to ~90%. I am also proficient in full-stack development, LLMs, and MLOps, which enable me to build and deploy complex AI systems that respond in real-time or serve batch requests. I am always eager to learn from seniors and peers in this field, and to explore new challenges and opportunities. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others who are starting in this field. I am motivated by solving problems, creating value, and advancing the state-of-the-art in AI/ML.
