Hello! I'm Muhammed, a multi-disciplined artist with a passion for Japanese media and a desire to impact culture. Growing up in the hood, I couldn't relate to the representation of black culture on radio and TV, nor did Sunni Islam fulfill my spiritual needs. Anime and games, like Kingdom Hearts, gave voice to my unique perspectives from a young age. My fascination with Japanese media has ignited my creativity, shaping my skills in concept design and visual storytelling. This passion has driven me to explore a wide range of subjects, from culture and psychology to symbolism, serving as a catalyst for my quest to deepen my understanding of the world. My extensive involvement in anime communities has provided me with a unique insight into the cultural and generational trends of the 21st century. It has allowed me to grasp the evolving cultural and psychological significance of anime and video games, particularly among younger generations. My experience at Domino's and Bodega, particularly during challenging times like Hurricane Irma and the COVID pandemic, has equipped me with valuable soft skills, including resilience, conflict resolution, and effective team management. I'm shifting my focus to become a cultural entrepreneur, aiming to explore the broader cultural, economic, and societal aspects of anime and video games. My goal is to start by securing entry-level roles in customer service or sales within cultural organizations. Additionally, I'm independently pursuing knowledge in the humanities and sciences to enhance my expertise in this field. Outside of work, I immerse myself in Japanese media, including favorites like Lucky Star, Code Geass, Re: Creators, Shirobako, and Hunter X Hunter.
