Responsibilities in Procurement, Operation and Maintenance of Makkah Bus Project Phase 1:

- Preparation of Master Plan (Project Schedule) and Updates to control project team to be consistent with contractual milestones and have efficient progress
- Preparation of Detailed Construction Schedule and Detailed Schedules of other Disciplines of the Project (Bus Delivery, ITS, Training... etc.)
- Preparation of Delay Analysis Reports for Claim Files
- Progress & Resource Management by Cost & Resource Loading to Project Schedule in Primavera P6
- Preparation of 3 Months Look Ahead Schedules to keep project team as aware of coming activities
- Daily-Weekly-Monthly Progress Reports
- Performing Cost-Control Studies and Estimation Engineering for Additional Scope of Works
- Quantity Surveying and Tracking of Project Deliverables
- Participation in Client Progress Meetings and Client's Project Control Workshops to keep coordination with stakeholders
- Monitoring and Tracking the Progress of Subcontractors & Suppliers through their schedule and actual performance
- Tracking of and Participation in Project Management Documentation
- Preparation of Interim Payment Applications and Submission to Client
- Performing Route Survey Analysis on Public Transportation Routes, Reporting Results, Proposing Solutions or Alternatives in coordination with Operation Team
- Preparation of Research Reports regarding different aspects of Public Transportation (cashless payment, public bus transportation systems around the world, BRT routes... etc.)
- Study and Report on Route Maps, Route Alignments, Bus Stop Locations

- Preparing and Periodically Updating Internal & External Schedules
- Keeping Project Team as updated about Delayed Activities, Reasons and Possible Precautions
- Daily-Weekly-Monthly Progress Reports
- Preparing and submitting main contractor Interim Payment Certificates to Client.
- Preparing and managing the all subcontractor's Interim Payment Certificates.
- Preparing unit price analysis for all items of whole project and keeping it updated.
- Preparing actual and estimated budgetary studies for certain parts of project and for variation orders.
- Making and Monitoring all quantity take-off for project and preparing BOQ Tables in Contracts and Subcontracts
- Preparing and submitting Interim Payment Certificate Forecast for following months of project monthly in coordination with planning department
- Managing, controlling, preparing and submitting Requests for Inspection (RFIs).
- Preparing BOQ Tables, Statements of Basic Clarifications and Specifications for Subcontract Tenders.
- Making Cost Estimation for certain parts of project.
- Following and preparing material delivery notes summaries
- Preparing Unit Price Comparisons based on technical details and unit price analysis
- Preparing all contractual documents for both client and subcontractors.
- Following all official letters and contractual letters, regularly obtaining and checking letter logs of DC 
department, preparing necessary letters and its attachments

Quantity Surveying Engineer

- Preparing all method statements, submitting them to the engineer (consultant), making necessary 
revisions and following all process
- controlling daily reports prepared by foremans and revising them to present to deputy PM.
- Preparing necessary technical documents for whole project (location maps, general maps, tables 
showing underground utilities, quantity and summary tables etc.)
- Following, downloading from server and sharing all design drawings and reports which are prepared 
and submitted by design subcontractor, approved projects
- Following all official letters and contractual letters, regularly obtaining and checking letter logs of DC 
department, preparing necessary letters and its attachments
- Checking all material requests for works on site and mobilization, entering purchase order requests 
on web portal using suitable cost codes according to budget, following all process of materials from
PO to delivery to site, explaining reasons of requests to managers who has the approval
authorization.
- Following the site access and work permit application processes of all project team, preparing and
collecting necessary documents for applications, informing teams about obtained permits.- Keep in
close contact with and controlling all subcontractors about works, obtaining necessary documents for
project and material approvals from subcontractors, checking existing status of subcontractors by
arranging regular meetings, following of invoice-payment issues and coordinating them.
