A few years ago, I was working a job that I hated at a bank and was dreaming that I could work in the music industry. I took a trip with some co-workers to Las Vegas to see the DJ Tiësto perform, and it changed everything for me. I saw him living his dream and the joy it brought him and those in the crowd. I decided right then and there that I would do everything I could to make a career in music. Wondering what to do next, my partner Lauren Z. Ray (documentary filmmaker & content creator) suggested I start posting on social media platforms like Instagram & YouTube. I decided to inspire and teach others about how to make it in music while I was on my own journey. That’s when musicbyLukas and my community TEAMMBL (team musicbyLukas) was born! Since then, I’ve been able to make a career in music. I’ve been signed by 8 of the top record labels, even including Tiësto’s own label. I’ve amassed a community of 300,000+ music producers and artists, traveled the world, and worked with the top artists, music brands, and record labels. I’ve also had the opportunity to give speeches at top music conferences and put on my own events with thousands attending. Most recently, my partner Lauren & I launched ‘TEAMMBL Media’, a media company to help music brands build their own thriving communities!
